Ayn Rand Atlas Society News

Favorite Rand operettas available on CD

Roger Donway, editor of Navigator, The Objectivist Center's monthly magazine, reports that "In a letter to [a] radio show Ayn Rand loved, she asked for selections from two operettas—Countess Maritza and Czardas Furstin—by Emmerlich Kalman. (Check out the reference in her Letters, p. 26 of the hardcover.) I was just looking around to see if selections were available, and they are-and both on the same disk. Take a look. Of course, there are numerous other recordings, including complete versions of his operettas.
