News and Events

Welcome to The Atlas Society!

Millions have been captivated by the inspiring novels, plays, short stories, and films of Ayn Rand.

Her immortal characters -- including Howard Roark, John Galt, Dagny Taggart, Francisco d'Anconia, and Hank Rearden -- have become heroic icons and role models to generations of readers. Her two greatest novels, Atlas Shrugged and The Fountainhead, have changed the lives of thousands.

If you are one of those readers -- as I am -- then you probably wish that those wonderful stories never had to end. Like me, you probably immerse yourself in Rand's books again and again...and wish that you could share your interests with others who also appreciate her achievements.

Well, you've come to the right place.

The Atlas Society (TAS) is an international Web-based meeting place for the many admirers of Ayn Rand's work.

The TAS Web site is an open forum where you can explore, celebrate, and discuss the aesthetic and spiritual values to be found in Ayn Rand's fiction, and become more familiar with her unique worldview. It offers you an ever-expanding archive of information about Ayn Rand, her literary work, and her ideas, plus an array of interactive features and resources that put you in touch with many others who share your interest in her work.

Participation in The Atlas Society is absolutely free for anyone who registers on this Web site. And once you register, you'll enjoy:

  • full access to the large and growing archive of information available in the password-protected sections of the TAS site
  • participation in TAS's private discussion areas, where you can meet and share perspectives with participants from around the world
  • participation in special contests

As an open forum, TAS welcomes anyone who appreciates Rand's magnificent achievements.

So if you enjoy the style, spirit, and sense of life of Ayn Rand's stories -- if her ennobled view of human potential has touched your soul, as it has mine -- then I cordially invite you to join The Atlas Society today, and help us creeat a global network of all who share that vision.

Cordially,

Robert Bidinotto, Director
